“That's one small step for
man, one giant leap for
mankind!”
When Neil Armstrong set his foot upon the Moon on July 21st, 1969, researchers, engineers and institutions had done their work. The job was finished. NASA’s Apollo-program marks the beginning of modern project management. It was executed with tight cooperation that needed coordination, exchange of information and the optimization of processes. All this was of the essence, so that one man could take this one step.
Today, project management is even more complex, difficult and diverse than ever.
